VDMA Med-Tech Seminar

China’s need to catch up in the health sector is huge, largely due to its own population. If further growth persists, the Chinese medical device market will move to second place behind the US in the coming years. In addition, the Chinese government is committed to fostering a strong domestic medical technology industry, which will further increase the demand for imports of high-quality, technology-intensive components and production equipment.

Therefore, the VDMA Medical Technology Association has organised a business trip to the Beijing / Tianjin region of China from March 18-22, 2018, a project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). Through presentations and business meetings with potential Chinese partners, German companies that offer production technology and med-tech components will be supported in their market entry to China.
