AUSTRIA CONNECT China is THE business event of the Sino-Austrian business community in the markets of mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR. It is organised by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, Austria’s official trade promotion organisation. The event is supported by go-international, a joint initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Digital, Business and Enterprise and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

AUSTRIA CONNECT China 2018 will be held from 7-10 April 2018 in Beijing on the occasion of the visit of Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen who will be accompanied by members of the Austrian government and a large business delegation.

As a motto, ‘Let’s talk strategy!’ has been chosen. China’s recent political initiatives and the growing size and increasing complexity of the market require a new response by actors both in government and business. The event will try to assess the current situation through discussions about measures to be taken on the corporate and institutional level. The aim is to provide at least some food for thought for a more strategic approach to business in China. Fiducia Business Development Manager Florian Braunsteiner will lead the workshop “China 2.0: Assessing Your China Business”, where he will present an overview of the current situation in China today, as well as key steps Austrian companies can take in order to ensure their success.

Expected to participate in this high-level event are around 250 Austrian CEOs, managing directors, and local representatives of Austrian companies.
