The Finance & Taxation Working Group of the European Chamber is pleased to invite you to join the upcoming session focusing on practical aspects of the PRC’s Environmental Protection Law enforcement and insights into the implementation of the Environmental Protection Tax in Guangdong.

SPEAKERS
Marshall Chen has 15 years’ experience in providing multinational clients with cutting-edge market intelligence and strategic advice to support their growth in the Chinese market. His expertise ranges from conducting in-depth market studies (market mapping, competitor benchmarking, cost-competitive analysis, demand analysis) to strategy formulation for market entry and growth, as well as M&A support. Marshall has extensive experience in supporting clients from various industries, including plastics, machinery and medical devices.
Dr. Jakob Riemenschneider is a partner of international law firm Taylor Wessing. He co-heads the firm‘s Hong Kong office. A German qualified lawyer and tax advisor, he assists European and Asian clients with their cross-continental investments and business activities including acquisitions, international expansion projects, and corporate restructuring. In the China Group of Taylor Wessing, Jakob Riemenschneider is responsible for Environmental Technologies, Agriculture & Food. Jakob studied in Germany, the UK and China. He is fluent in English, German and Mandarin and is conversational in Spanish.
