Soap Cycling Volunteering by Fidu-Share Ambassadors (HK)

On behalf of Fidu-Share, a BIG thank you to our Ambassadors for taking the time to attend; we hope you enjoyed this meaningful experience (besides the nice overwhelming soap smell around us for three hours…). For your reference, the organiser shared with us today some stats below on the amenity resources that we were able to reprocess and how/where they will be distributed:

10 kgs of soap cleaned: Enough for 30 kids for a year in the Philippines;

400 small bottles cleaned: Enough to supply 200 street sleepers in HK with bath gel and shampoo for a shower; and

11 big bottles filled: Enough for 11 low-income HK families to have conditioner for a month; and

50 kgs of plastic and chemical waste saved from HK’s crowded landfills.
