Navigating China’s Retail and E-Commerce Market
14th November 2019 | 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
| CCI France Chine
China’s retail market is on its way to becoming the largest in the world. The country’s 1.3 billion consumers have fuelled the growth of B2C brands worldwide for decades and now account for a large chunk of multinationals’ global revenues.
Today, the fast-growing middle class in China has an increased appetite for foreign premium products such as sporting goods, luxury clothing, electric vehicles and food. Thus, the market still offers great potential for foreign retailers.
But what are the key success factors to focus on when entering a market as vast and fast-paced as China’s? The retail landscape has become so saturated and complex that it’s more vital than ever for new entrants to go beyond a superficial understanding of the local market. In order to succeed, foreign companies need to master the finesse of both online and offline commerce.
In this seminar, Fiducia expert Rita Ma will outline how to navigate through the Chinese retail industry, efficiently structure your brand distribution in China, find reliable business partners and prepare for the world’s largest e-commerce market.
