Dr. Henrik Thiele

In 2005 Dr. Thiele joined the Knorr Bremse Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles, after he co-founded and managed a consultancy for applied game theory.

As Managing Director of Knorr-Bremse’s Frenos and Merak subsidiaries in Spain, he was responsible for the braking and HVAC system business.

In 2011 he was appointed as a Managing Director of Knorr-Bremse Rail Asia Pacific Ltd. in Hong Kong. After 10 years in the family business Dr Thiele moved on to new challenges in 2015. Dr Thiele earned his PhD in Economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität.
