With the age of advanced technology, industrial automation is becoming increasingly important in the manufacturing process as computerized or robotic machines are becoming increasingly capable of handling repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently. With the history of being labor-intensive, what are the opportunities and challenges that China now faces? Inevitably there are pros and cons such as saving employment costs, high cost-production ratio and less investment in HR issues. However, as Chinacontinues to invest in building up industrial automation capabilities on the ground, serious issues arise which require serious consideration.
In this seminar, attendees will first be introduced to recent trends in the manufacturing sector and then we will learn more about the experience and analysis of industrial automation in China. Our Q&A session will allow for further in depth discussion. Topics will relate to Industrial 4.0 and industrial automation sharing focused on the automotive market.

China’s production has historically been cost-efficient and labour-intensive. But with salaries on the rise and advancements in local R&D efforts, China has been investing more heavily in building up industrial automation capabilities on the ground. In this seminar, our speaker Stefan Kracht will address the future of industrial automation in China, as well as what opportunities this presents for international high tech companies.
