Mr. Jürgen Kracht, Managing Director

Fiducia Management Consultants is led by Managing Director Jürgen Kracht, a German national who is a management consultant with over 30 years of experience in China trade and investment. He oversees the overall day-to-day running of the company and spearheads Fiducia’s business development. Mr. Kracht is also an Investment Promotion Ambassador for the Hong Kong Government since September 2004 and is regarded internationally as a valuable speaker at China events providing comprehensive know-how and in-depth practical experience on various China topics. He is a member of the Hong Kong Club, the Foreign Correspondence Club and the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club as well as a Board Member of the Hong Kong Management Consultancy Association.

Mr. Kracht graduated with a degree in International Business Management from the University of Applied Sciences, Bremen, Germany. In 1970, he joined a major international trading company Jebsen and Co. in Hong Kong, where for the following ten years he gained extensive experience in China trade and investment. In 1980, he joined Continental Engineering in Hong Kong (today Techtronic Industries), an electrical consumer goods exporter to Europe and the US, as Finance Director.

Mrs. Cynthia Kracht, Director

In 1982, recognizing the need for consulting and corporate services, he established Fiducia Management Consultants together with his wife Cynthia Kracht, a Malaysian national. As a Director and Fiducia’s Legal Executive, Mrs. Kracht runs the Corporate Services Department, whose main client services include the incorporation of Hong Kong Limited companies and the provision of company secretary and registered office.

Prior to setting up Fiducia, Mrs. Kracht worked in administrative and corporate capacities for companies in Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Mrs. Kracht is a Certified Company Secretary and holds a Law Diploma from the University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Stefan Kracht, Director

Their son, Stefan Kracht, leads Fiducia’s China Consulting Department since 2007. He is based in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Stefan and his team have extensive experience in the fields of Market Intelligence, Competitor Analysis, Market Entry Strategy, Sourcing Strategies and M&A. Clients’ industries include machinery, aluminium, automotive and packaging.

Additionally, Stefan has been responsible for the HR, infrastructure and administration for our 100 staff in four offices since 2006. After joining Fiducia in January 2005, Stefan led the organisational and cultural change within Fiducia.

Stefan joined Fiducia with eight years of unique work experience, most recently having co-founded and run a components and materials trading company in Shanghai which he sold to his associates after three years. Prior to that, he worked for nearly 2 years as a management consultant in the London office of Bain & Co. Before attending university, he also worked at Otto Versand, the world's largest mail-order company in Hamburg, Hong Kong and Shanghai from 1993 to 1996, during which he received his certificate “Aussenhandelskaufmann” (Foreign Trade Clerk) with distinction.

Stefan graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc (Hons) in Management in 2000. Before attending LSE, Stefan studied Business Administration at The University of Passau, Germany, for two years. Stefan is fluent in English and German and conversational in Mandarin and French.
